BX Cidery, Vernon
We were tasked with creating an extension to the pre-existing BX Cidery. The existing area is comprised of the production, crush areas, and cider sales, as well as storage. The expansion contains outdoor apple sales, a restaurant and bar, all with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The exterior is cladded with shou sugi ban which is a Japanese method of wood preservation where the surface is charred without burning the entire plank of wood.
